We all have projects that go wrong, don’t we? I was able to make this thankful painted sign for outside using 1×3’s I purchased to make a large stretcher for a floor cloth I made, that backfired! The sign measures around 5 feet tall.
To paint the sign I took some left over Sherwin Williams Turkish coffee paint I had, added water to it to make it liquidy, and whitewashed it to ‘stain’ the wood.
To write out the words ‘thankful’ I printed out the word vertically in a serif font. I eye balled the placement of the letters, and wha’la!
What a better way to show and tell the world that you’re grateful and at the perfect time of year!
